Thirty years behind the camera.
For three decades, Brian T. Jaynes has made things people watch. He's shot cosmetics campaigns for L'Oréal, sent Mustangs tearing across open fields for Ford Motor Company, and made music videos for KMFDM, Foo Fighters, Submersed, and artists across the Wind-up Records roster, with film and television work for NBCUniversal, SYFY, and Chiller TV along the way.
He's a hands-on producer who runs sets the way investors wish every set were run. He leads full-scale crews, makes budgets go further than they should, and has shot two films at once with a single crew. Over the years he has also become one of the most practiced hands at bringing Texas film incentives home.
His work doesn't stop when the cameras do. Brian owned and ran Cinema West, a Los Angeles–area post-production house, and remains an expert editor and colorist in Avid and DaVinci Resolve. He knows every step from first cut to final delivery.
His storytelling reaches the page too. He published seven novels written by his late wife and creative partner, author Jennifer Jaynes, through Thomas & Mercer, Amazon's publishing imprint. Four reached the worldwide top 10, and two hit No. 1.
He is also a director, photographer, cinematographer, screenwriter, and Americana songwriter. Educated at the University of Texas at Arlington and the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine, and a certified AI prompt engineer, Brian grew up among Christian missionary organizations. Today he pairs a lifetime of traditional production with AI-driven animation and VFX, building the next generation of faith and values storytelling from East Texas.
He built INKX because the pictures he wanted to make had outgrown the budgets available to make them, and the tools to close that gap didn't exist yet.
He lives in Texas with his twin teenage sons.
